The Szklarka waterfall — the second highest in the Karkonosze
The Szklarka waterfall is the second highest in the Polish Karkonosze. The Szklarka stream falls here in a single jet from 13.3 m in the wooded gorge it has cut, inside Karkonosze National Park. The place is known for its picturesque granite rocks and lush vegetation, and the walk from the car park takes about 10 minutes. Right beside the falls stands the historic „Kochanówka” mountain hut. The visit combines easily with the nearby Chybotek rock.
