A sight in the Szklarska Poręba region

Chybotek — the rocking rock of Szklarska Poręba

Chybotek is a group of granite rocks near the Szklarka waterfall, at about 565 m a.s.l. The topmost block, weighing many tonnes, rests on just two points of support, so it can be set gently rocking — hence the name, which means „the rocker”. The place has long been wrapped in legends of highwaymen and witches, and short footpaths run around the rocks. Because the waterfall is so close, Chybotek is usually visited on the same trip as the Szklarka gorge.
