A sight in the Władysławowo region

The beaches of Władysławowo — wide sandy beaches on the Baltic

The beaches of Władysławowo are among the widest and finest on the Polish coast. Fine, pale sand runs for kilometres, and the gentle entries into the water and lifeguarded bathing areas make it ideal for families with children. On the open-sea side the waves feed surfing and kitesurfing; on the bay side the water is calmer and warmer. The town beach, close to the centre and the port, has full facilities — food stands, equipment hire and playgrounds. Walk a little way towards Chłapowo or Karwia, though, and you will find wild, quiet stretches of shore.
