The Fisherman's House and the Kashubian Terrace — the viewing tower of Władysławowo

The Fisherman's House is the calling card of Władysławowo and one of the most recognisable buildings on the Polish coast. It was built in the 1950s as a holiday home for fishermen and today houses the town hall among other offices. Its heart is the slender viewing tower known as the Kashubian Terrace — a lift and a final climb bring you to a breathtaking panorama of the fishing port, the beaches, the open sea and the root of the Hel Peninsula. On a clear day you can watch the cutters heading out and take in the whole sweep of the bay. It is an essential stop for anyone who wants to understand the maritime character of the town.
