Hallerówka — the manor museum of General Haller in Władysławowo

Hallerówka is a wooden manor house built between the wars and linked with General Józef Haller — the commander who in 1920 performed the symbolic Wedding of Poland to the Sea, casting a platinum ring into the Baltic. Today the restored building houses a museum devoted to the general, to the story of Poland regaining access to the sea and to the history of the region. Interiors full of mementoes, documents and photographs carry visitors back to the years when Poland's presence on the Baltic was being built. The grounds and the closeness of the shore make it a quiet, reflective stop away from the bustle of the beach.
