Cape Rozewie and the lighthouse — the oldest on the Polish Baltic

Cape Rozewie is one of the most distinctive points on the Polish coast — for years regarded as the northernmost tip of Poland. The lighthouse here, named after the writer Stefan Żeromski, has worked without a break since 1822 and is the oldest working lighthouse on the Polish Baltic. After the climb up the winding stairs, visitors are rewarded with a wide panorama of the sea and the coast. The historic building houses the Lighthouse Museum, telling the story of navigation and of the people who guarded the sea lanes. All around stretches the Coastal Landscape Park, with beech woods running down to the cliff.
