Lisi Jar and the cliff at Jastrzębia Góra — a ravine above the sea

Lisi Jar is one of the most picturesque landforms on the Polish coast — a deep, winding ravine some 350 metres long cut into the high cliff between Jastrzębia Góra and Rozewie. Steep, wooded slopes drop in a narrow band right down to the sea, creating an almost alpine impression on the very edge of the Baltic. The ravine leads to a wild, intimate beach at the foot of the cliff. The whole area lies within the Coastal Landscape Park, and the scenic paths that run along the edge of the drop are among the loveliest walks in the region. Photographers love it, especially at sunrise and sunset.
