The Czantoria cable car in Ustroń — the chairlift

The Czantoria cable car is one of the most modern chairlifts in the Polish Beskids. Four-seat chairs cover a route of about 1,640 metres with more than 460 metres of ascent in roughly eight minutes, carrying visitors from Ustroń up to the Stokłosica meadow at about 855 m a.s.l. Capacity reaches 1,800 people an hour. In summer a toboggan run and a mountain 'beach' with sun loungers operate beside the top station, and it is an easy walk from here to the summit of Czantoria with its viewing tower. In winter the lift serves skiers using the slopes on the mountainside.
