A sight in the Ustroń region

Czantoria Wielka (995 m) — the viewing tower above Ustroń

Czantoria Wielka rises to 995 m a.s.l. and is the culmination of the Czantoria range in the Silesian Beskids. The summit sits exactly where the boundaries of the Ustroń and Wisła municipalities meet the Czech village of Nýdek. A metal viewing tower some 29 metres high was raised on the top in 2019; in good weather it takes in the Moravian-Silesian Beskids and even the distant Jeseníky. Czantoria can be reached on foot by several trails or by chairlift from the Ustroń side. A mountain hut stands near the summit, and a waymarked trail runs along the ridge towards Stożek and the Vistula valley.
