The drawbridge at Darłówko is one of the great attractions of the seaside part of town and one of the few moving bridges in Poland. Thrown across the mouth of the river Wieprza where it meets the Baltic, it links the two parts of the resort — East and West Darłówko. Several times a day the bridge opens to let fishing cutters and yachts pass between the port and the sea, and the moment draws crowds of onlookers. The crossing has become the emblem of Darłówko and a favourite backdrop for holiday photographs. From the bridge there is a view of the port, the cutters and the water traffic in the very heart of the resort.
