The lighthouse at Darłówko

The lighthouse at Darłówko stands on the eastern bank of the Wieprza mouth, near the port and the drawbridge, marking the safe way in for cutters entering the harbour. The distinctive tower is open to visitors — after the climb up the stairs the viewing gallery gives a wide panorama of the fishing port, the broad beaches of Darłówko and the open Baltic. It is one of the most visited points in the resort, especially in summer. From the top the layout of the two parts of Darłówko, divided by the river and joined by the moving bridge, is beautifully clear.
