The summit and the viewing tower
Wieżyca stands 329 m a.s.l. and is the highest point of the whole Kashubian Lake District — and of the Polish Lowland. On the wooded summit stands the John Paul II viewing tower, built in 1997 and renovated in 2019 — the fifth tower on this spot. 182 steps lead to the top.

In practice
Waymarked trails lead up Wieżyca from several directions — most conveniently from Szymbark or from the Wieżyca railway station. The climb is manageable for families with children too. It is at its finest on a clear day, when the view from the tower reaches furthest.
