The sanctuary at Sianowo honours Our Lady of Sianowo — a Gothic figure to which graces have been attributed for centuries. In 1966 the figure was crowned and the image officially given the title Queen of Kashubia.

In practice

The sanctuary lies off the beaten track in Kashubian Switzerland, about 6 km north of Kartuzy. It is a place of living devotion and at the same time a quiet, intimate sanctuary — suitable dress is expected. It goes well with a walk around the lakes.
