A modernist residence
The Residence of the President of Poland was built in 1929–1930 to a design by Adolf Szyszko-Bohusz on the wooded slope of Zadni Groń. It was paid for by public subscription in Silesia and presented to President Ignacy Mościcki. To this day it remains one of the residences of the Polish head of state.
