A sight in the Wisła region

The Lutheran church of the Apostles Peter and Paul in Wisła

The church of the Apostles Peter and Paul is a Neoclassical Lutheran church in the centre of Wisła, built between 1833 and 1838. Wisła is one of the main centres of Polish Lutheranism.

The church

The church of the Apostles Peter and Paul was built between 1833 and 1838 on the site of an earlier wooden prayer house. It is a Neoclassical building; the tower was added later, since raising one was at first restricted by the rules then governing Protestant buildings.
