Skrzyczne — the highest peak of the Silesian Beskids (1,257 m)

Skrzyczne (1,257 m a.s.l.) is the highest peak of the Silesian Beskids and one of the summits of the Crown of Polish Mountains. A two-stage COS chairlift climbs to the top from Szczyrk via Hala Jaworzyna, covering nearly 850 m of ascent in total. Since the late 1990s the summit has carried a distinctive 87-metre radio and television mast, with a PTTK mountain hut alongside. In good weather you can see the Żywiec Basin, the Żywiec Beskids with Babia Góra, and even the Tatras. In winter it is the heart of one of the largest ski areas in Poland.
