The Skalite complex — the ski jumps of Szczyrk

The Skalite ski jump complex, named after the Beskid Olympians, lies on the northern slope of Skalite hill in Szczyrk. It comprises three jumps: a normal hill with a construction point of K95 (size HS104), a medium K70 (HS77) and a small K40. The first jumping competition was held here as early as 14 February 1937, and the complex was thoroughly rebuilt in 2007–2008. The name commemorating the Beskid Olympians was given on 2 September 2018. Today the jumps serve training and competition, and thanks to their plastic matting they are used in summer too.
