Watersports
Jamno is shallow and exposed to the wind — ideal conditions for windsurfing and kitesurfing, and for beginners too, since you can stand on the broad shallows. Dinghies sail here as well, and along the shores there are surf schools and equipment hire. Being cut off from the open sea makes bathing and learning safer.

In practice
From the sea beach you can walk to the lake in a few minutes — the advantage of a position on the spit. The equipment hire places and marinas are concentrated at Mielno and Unieście. The lake is linked to the sea by the Jamno Canal.
