The Old Town Hall
The Old Town Hall is one of the outstanding examples of Gothic civic architecture in Europe — a massive quadrangular building with a tall tower. It houses the District Museum, and the tower (several hundred steps) can be climbed for a panorama of the whole old town and the Vistula valley.
The old town market square

The walls and the Teutonic castle
The old town is ringed by surviving stretches of defensive wall with gates and towers on the Vistula side. A few minutes' walk separates the market square from the ruins of the Teutonic castle — the Order's first castle in the Chełmno Land, torn down by the townspeople in the 15th century.
