A sight in the Świnoujście region

Woliński National Park — Międzyzdroje, bison and cliffs

Right beside Świnoujście, on the island of Wolin, lies Woliński National Park — with the resort of Międzyzdroje, a bison enclosure, a cliff coast and a viewpoint on Gosań hill.

The natural jewel of the island of Wolin

Woliński National Park protects one of the most valuable natural areas of the Polish coast — woods, lakes and above all striking cliffs falling steeply to the Baltic. It lies directly east of Świnoujście, on the same island.

What to see

  • Międzyzdroje — a resort with a pier, the gateway to the park
  • The bison enclosure — bison and other animals of the region
  • Gosań hill — the highest cliff, with a wide view of the Baltic
  • Trails along the cliff and through the woods

In practice

From Świnoujście it makes a good day trip — by car or train. Comfortable shoes for the cliff paths; take care at the edge and keep to the marked routes. The park's protection rules apply.
