The Slovincians and their culture

The Slovincians were a Slavic people who lived for centuries beside Lake Łebsko — from fishing and from farming poor soils. Through the 19th and 20th centuries the community almost entirely disappeared. The open-air museum at Kluki keeps its memory: surviving and relocated farmsteads, dwelling houses and farm buildings on the site of the old village.

In practice

The museum is a few kilometres from Łeba, on Lake Łebsko — easiest to reach by car or bicycle. It goes well with the route around the lake and with the natural side of the national park. Opening hours and admission depend on the season.
