A sight in the Łeba region

The beach and harbour at Łeba

The resort heart of Łeba — a wide beach, a fishing and yacht harbour and a promenade with stalls frying fresh fish.

The beach

The beach at Łeba is wide and sandy, with a gentle entry to the water — good for families. In season there are lifeguarded bathing areas, hire places and food stalls. The beach runs far beyond the town, so quieter stretches are within a short walk.

The harbour and promenade

  • The fishing and yacht harbour — cutters, yachts and fresh fish straight off the boat
  • Boat trips — seasonal trips out to sea and across Lake Łebsko
  • The promenade — fish-fry stalls, ice cream and attractions for children
  • Watersports — equipment for hire

In practice

The bathing season usually runs from June to August. Łeba can be very crowded in summer — it is quietest in the morning and away from the central stretch of beach. Freshly fried fish at the harbour is a local obligation.
