A sight in the Łeba region

Rąbka and the former rocket range

Rąbka is the starting point for trips into the park and to the dunes, and at the same time a place with an unusual chapter of history — a former German rocket research station from the Second World War.

The gateway to the park

Rąbka is where trips to the shifting dunes and across Lake Łebsko begin. This is where car traffic ends — beyond it you enter the national park and continue by low-emission transport (on foot, by buggy or by bicycle) or by boat.

The former rocket range

A German rocket weapons test station from the Second World War stood nearby. Today there is an open-air museum here with surviving relics and a technical exhibition — an interesting, less obvious stop on the route, especially for families with children.

In practice

  • Car parks — at Rąbka; no cars beyond it
  • Tickets — entry to the park; the museum separately
  • Combining — the natural start for the dunes and the boat trip on Łebsko
  • For children — the rocket exhibition makes a change
