The Gold Mine at Złoty Stok

From gold mine to visitor route

Złoty Stok is one of the oldest mining centres in Silesia — gold and arsenic were extracted here for centuries. Today part of the historic adits is open to visitors, with a mining exhibition and reconstructed scenes of work underground.

In practice

It is cool inside all year (about 8–10°C) and damp — take a jacket and secure footwear. The visit is guided and lasts about an hour; opening hours and admission depend on the season.
