The beach
Kołobrzeg's beach is wide and sandy and runs the whole length of the resort. In season there are lifeguarded bathing areas (with WOPR lifeguards), equipment hire and food stalls. The gentle entry to the water suits families with children.
The pier and the promenade
- The pier — a walk over the water, a viewpoint and a place for photographs
- The seaside promenade — restaurants, ice cream shops and attractions for children
- The monument to Poland's Wedding to the Sea and places of remembrance of 1945
- Watersports — hire places, boat trips and beach equipment
In practice
At the height of summer the beach can be crowded — there is most room in the morning and the evening. The bathing season usually runs from June to August; outside it the beach is excellent for long walks and stormy views.
