Cetniewo and sport
Władysławowo lies at the root of the Hel Peninsula — most travellers pass through it on the way to the spit. It is known above all for the COS Cetniewo centre, traditionally associated with the training of Polish athletes and Olympians.

Practical notes
Władysławowo makes a good stop on the way to the peninsula — the road and the railway line run on from here to Hel. At the height of the season the town is full and traffic backs up; June and September are calmer.
