The route
The cycle route runs the length of the Hel Spit and links Hel with Władysławowo. It passes mostly through coastal pine woods, close to the beaches and through the villages along the spit. The ground is flat — a comfortable route for families too.
What is along the way
- Coastal woods — shade and a pleasant microclimate
- The peninsula's villages — Jastarnia, Jurata, Kuźnica, Chałupy
- Beaches on both sides — the Baltic and the Bay of Puck
- A link with the railway — you can return by train
Practical notes
You can hire a bicycle or bring your own; the route can be split as you like and combined one way with the Gdynia–Hel railway. At the height of the season it is busy — mornings are best. Take water and sun protection.
