Poland's most famous ski jump
Wielka Krokiew is the main ski jump in Poland, named after the pre-war skiing pioneer Stanisław Marusarz. It stands at the foot of the Tatras against the backdrop of Giewont and is regularly the arena of World Cup competitions in ski jumping — on those days tens of thousands of spectators come to Zakopane.
