The beach at Pogorzelica lies at the eastern end of the Rewal district and is reckoned one of the quietest around. A broad band of pale sand is backed by pine forest that comes almost down to the beach, creating the healthy sea-and-pine air holidaymakers value. The village is less crowded than neighbouring Niechorze or Rewal, which makes it a favourite with those looking for quiet. In season there is a lifeguarded bathing area, and the Seaside Narrow-Gauge Railway passes through Pogorzelica.
