A sight in the Rewal region

The cliff and viewing terrace at Trzęsacz

The cliff at Trzęsacz is one of the most distinctive stretches of coast in the Rewal district. It is its constant erosion — the shore retreating under the pressure of the sea — that has left the famous church ruins on the very edge of the drop. A viewing terrace has been built beside the ruins, opening a wide panorama of the Baltic, the cliff shoreline and the beach below. The place is at its most striking during storms and at sunset, and it is a popular walk for visitors from all around.
