Lubomirski Castle in Rzeszów — bastions and a moat in the city centre
The Lubomirski castle was the residence of the town's owners, surrounded by earthen bastions and a moat. Later a prison, today a court — the interiors are closed to visitors, but a walk around the walls is one of the nicest in the centre.
The residence was fortified like early modern strongholds; the bastions and moat survive. Its exterior is freely accessible from the street and the square.
