Underground Tourist Route in Rzeszów — cellars beneath the square
For centuries cellars were dug beneath Rzeszów's square — storerooms for merchants and shelters in times of war. Part of them now forms a guided tourist route, one of the city's best sights, even on a rainy day.
The route leads through corridors and halls on several levels. The guide talks about trade and how the cellars sheltered residents in hard times. It is cool underground all year — bring a jumper, and check times and tickets before you go.
