The second largest lake in Poland
Mamry is, after Śniardwy, the second largest body of water in Poland — broad and open, valued for longer and more demanding passages. It forms the northern end of the connected route through the Great Masurian Lakes.
Węgorzewo
Węgorzewo lies at the northern end of the route and is its main gateway from that side — with a marina, charter firms and a calmer atmosphere than busy Mikołajki. A good starting point for cruises on Mamry.
